I am a spayed female & I look like a Dutch Shepherd mix
The shelter staff think I am 3 years old.
Hi, I'm Aya, a dog who's recently found her second chance at happiness. I didn't have the easiest start, coming into the shelter as a stray. It was hard to adjust; the noise and confinement just weren't for me. But then, everything changed when my foster parent brought me into their home.
Living here has been a dream! I'm completely house trained and proud to say I've kept the house accident-free. I adore our walks together—no pulling on the leash, just enjoying the world as it comes. Car rides? Oh, they're the best! I usually just curl up and sleep, feeling the hum of the road beneath us.
When I'm home alone, I'm perfectly content sleeping on the rug, waiting patiently. There’s a cat here too, and I'm quite curious about my feline friend, but I keep it cool. Nights are peaceful in my own bed, and I've quickly made friends with everyone, especially my foster dad. He's my favorite, and it seems the feeling is mutual!
Now, I feel ready to find my forever adoptive home, hoping to share all this love and joy with a new family.
