TFD Responds to Residential Fire

Today, Oct. 22, at 1:06 p.m., Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) was dispatched to a report of a residential fire in the 2800 block of South Adams Street. TFD arrived within four minutes and found fire and smoke showing from an apartment. Crews performed an interior attack, and the fire was quickly extinguished.
The bulk of the fire was contained to one apartment, and there were no reported injuries. Adjacent apartments were searched and cleared by TFD. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
TFD was assisted on scene by Tallahassee Police Department, City of Tallahassee Utilities and Leon County EMS.
