I am a spayed female & I look like a Catahoula Leopard Hound and Beagle
The shelter staff think I am 1 year and 9 months old.
Sandy is a 42-pound brown and white beauty with a big heart and a tough past. She first came to the shelter in early 2025 after being found chained to a porch with only a crate for shelter. She was later adopted and thought she’d found her forever home, but was sadly returned.
After everything she’s been through, Sandy deserves a home where she can receive plenty of attention, love and patience. She can be shy at first and needs a little time to feel comfortable, but she enjoys the company of people once she’s settled in. She’s house and crate trained, gets along well with other dogs, but would do best in a home with no small animals or kids.
Sandy is ready for a calm, caring home where she can finally feel safe, loved, and part of a family for good.
