Pepper is a 39-pound girl who first came to the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. She was later adopted, but sadly returned when she wasn’t the right match for the other pet in the home. Pepper is an active, fearless, friendly, and playful pup with a big personality. She has experience with children over 12 but would do best as the only pet, as she prefers not to hang out with other dogs or cats. Rope toys and chews are her favorites. Pepper is afraid of loud noises and is not house-trained, so she’ll need patience and understanding as she adjusts. With the right home that can meet her needs and give her guidance, Pepper has the potential to be a wonderful companion.
